D o d g e

During the fall trip to NH, came across this rusted Dodge that still had some life and Use left.
The Chrome was still shining through all that rust, and as of usage, it had become a pretty place holder for ma flower vase.
Not the best look for the tough as nails Dodge brand!
Was a difficult shot to pull off, the truck itself was in shadows and sunlight streaming through the trees and back lighting the car too.

P r o v i d e n c e - Water Fire

The Providence Water Fire event is an unique event.
In an effort to transform the industrial tag that Providence had been associated, a cultural activity was envisioned that would attract tourist and give Providence a new lease of life with a new identity, as a hub of arts and culture.
The show in itself is worth a visit, with great choreography, lilting World Music and some spectacular pyrotechnics.
Seen here is the main performer swinging the Coal Braziers making it look so simple and invigorating.
The reflection of the fire in the river looks like Molten Gold.

R o c k p o r t

Easily one of the best places to photograph, the collection of textures, colors and quaintness is unmatched.
This particular shot is not very original in terms of composition and idea, saw this in one of the galleries in Rockport and went around looking for a chance to try it out.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Fall in New England has always been a heady experience for me. But Sugar Hill in NH surpassed all expectations.
This is what they mean by "Picture Perfect"

N i a g a r a

Niagara Falls, NY

The Niagara Falls colorfully lit at night, its a wonderful spectacle and you can only wonder how much more the Canadians get to enjoy the view.
Very difficult to get a clear shot from the angle you want, with the milling crowd that gets attracted to this fall all the time.
This shot turned out a tad dark and little of the water is seen, but my wide angle allowed only that much frame space .. especially since I wanted the Canadian Tower in the pic too.

Juxtaposition

Juxtaposition
noun
1. the act of positioning close together (or side by side); "it is the result of the juxtaposition of contrasting colors"
2. a side-by-side position

The sea side town of Rockport was a surprise package, lovely quaint place with charming streets lined with attractive shops, galleries and Ice cream shops.
What made the place really special was all the interesting color combinations and textures on display, a haven for photographers!
Not surprising, considering that the place is a Mecca for artists and their influence is all prevelant.
